My s580 was built 3-2 - no active seats or rear axle
Due to the chip shortage the active seats were not available ( still heated, cooled, massage, etc) and also the 4.5 axle was not available. MB did give me (and others) 3 yr free maintenance to make up for the seats.
Was built 3/1 so it should be here shortly. I would have liked the rear axle, but I already re-leased my 2017 twice so I'm past 4 years...I didn't want to wait another 3-4 months (which is where the dealer would have bumped me). I guess I get the rear axle in 3 years!

Which line did you order, luxury, AMG, or executive? Did you get the 3D package as an option? Once your car gets here, they will still hold it until the official launch on June 1st. It has been a long wait!

am surprised, in the W222 i thought the active multicontour seat feature was STANDARD... .isn't that the case for W223? How come there is even an option to not have active seats? in my view, this is a hard pass.

As long as your leasing your fine. I wouldn't get a S class without those features, you actually have a huge C class. You taking away things that make the S the S, but its your choice so if your tired of waiting it is what it is. Good luck on your purchase.
