When, when, when??
"Next year, Mercedes will begin to offer the even more massive Hyperscreen glass dashboard (yes, the one from the electric EQS) in the S-Class. So, that's perhaps a really big reason to wait for the 2022 model year."
When I first saw the new hyperscreen in the EQS, I commented that this should have been the S-Class implementation. Seems like my precognition is showing.
As for delivery it’s the same thing he take me.. early July. Really hoping it arrived before 7/17 as I plan on using it for the grooms car at my best friends wedding. Would be a nice first outing for the car. I’m on the wedding train so I’ll of course be the driver.
anyways I ordered in September 2020 and it was built May 19 2021 and currently sitting at the port in GA according to the dealer.
attached are the specs of my build for anyone needing to get an idea of the cost of this specific spec as Mercedes still playing games with prices on their site.
Hope it’s helpful info for y’all.

………..AND the wheel insurance policy, I hope.
[/QUOTE]Haha never needed it here in Michigan. Haven't bent a rim in a long time, I guess I am a very proactive driver and roads here are pretty good. Winter time I will be using the 20 rims and winter tires. Side note, I have the 2021 Audi RS7 and that car has 285/30R22 rims/tire size and no issues since getting it last fall. I do use winter sets in size 20s for those. I got the tire/wheel insurance just in case but will be getting a prorated refund as I have no need for it.
From what I have read here, even if the car makes it to a boat, the real delay may come when it hits America. Or, is this a problem unique to S class only? I may cancel the order as they can't even give me an anticipated arrival date. I need new tires, maintenance, etc. on my current CLS and if I'm going to spend that kind of money for upkeep I might as well keep it a few more months and get a '22 model. Any help you guys here have will be appreciated. BTW, I have at $1000 non refundable deposit that I'm sure they will keep although I will work to try to get them to release it, if in fact I cancel.
