AMG Steering Wheel and Heads up Display for 21 or 22?

'22 SL63, '22 Tesla Model S LR and X LR
AMG Steering Wheel and Heads up Display for 21 or 22?
I am curious. Is there anyone who took delivery and got a HUD and the AMG wheel with the AMG package?

If you got the HUD, does it have that very cool navigation feature. There is a name for it, I am not sure what it is. But it basically overlays arrows onto your HUD display and points out turns, etc. Very cool. I have only seen it on YouTube. So. Is that included?

If none of those options are being delivered, any idea when they will be? Ty!

You must be referring to the augmented reality HUD. Different from the "standard HUD".

Yes its random, probably one odd car with that option in some dealerships, it is a $3000 option but totally worth it once you see it

OP, the AMG steering wheel is unavailable in the US, it is reserved for the S63e here.

that is right , but regular steering wheel is half leather and half wood and I prefer that over full leather amg wheel I had in my 2019 amg s63

Is this a COVID change? I definitely remember it was part of the AMG package when the vehicle configurator first was turned on on mbusa. It was a good while back. Probably 1y+.

No change due to COVID, the configurator also hasn't been on MBUSA for that long so over a year ago would have been the prior W222 S-Class. Both US-variants of the W222 and W223 haven't offered the AMG steering wheel on non 63/65 AMG models. Non-AMG S-Class Sedans have always had the regular steering wheel with an option for wood/leather. The Coupe and Cabriolet can be optioned with an AMG steering wheel.

At least in the 213 generation of E Class and the S Class generations, the US has never had the sport steering wheel on non AMG cars, not even AMG line, which is a huge disappointment for me.

W223 S500 LWB 4-Matic, W222 S450 LWB 4-Matic, A238 E400 Cabriolet 4-Matic
I see AMG steering wheels on eBay all the time for under $1K US out of the Euro Zone. Looks like they would just bolt right on probably if you used the old color matched air bag without the need to reprogram. Make sure to ask if it has heated option if you had it on the old one. Heck maybe someone would trade 🤔
