The EQS will not have "better range" than the
Taycan, it will have a "bigger battery" which will
absolutely make it drive like a boat. Efficiency
will likely be almost the exact same. Range
claims mean nothing, every company except
Porsche drastically overstates the range of their
EVs.. Porsche is literally the only company that
undersells it.
The interior is a matter of perspective. The EQS
looks way over the top and I much prefe the
clean, minimalistic approach of the Taycan”
My thinking - “Range,” given that driving conditions and situations, and driving styles, vary so much, doesn’t mean a thing.
All that matters is, “Can I get there as I am,
and if not, where can I get what I need?
To each his own.

Cool but this is the W223 section. There's a separate EQS section.

What does that mean? You have been posting in the EQS section for a month.Originally Posted by Newbyloub

Through 4200 miles I am at about 325 miles per full charge (per 107 kWh). However, driving technique and weather affect that number so much. I don’t exceed speed limits, that increases my range. I don’t accelerate quickly. I try to use No Regen all the time to boost range through coasting, and use the regen paddles as my brakes….hopefully brake pads won’t need replacing for a very long time. With temps in 30s I’m guessing I get about 260 miles. City driving I’m guessing I get about 360 miles, Highway maybe 300.
I would not worry about range….I play the maximize range game because I’m competitive about almost all things. Just enjoy all the other features of the SUV.

I had a Taycan Turbo in the garage for a few days. It's a great car but like most Porsche's it's not going to be the answer to questions an EQS buyer is asking.

The Taycan is a stunning car. It’s a true sports sedan. But it’s not a luxury car in the way the S class is or EQS is attempting to be (looks aside).
The Taycan, I found to be uncomfortable at times especially the ingress/egress and it rides like a true Porsche with the suspension setting to be firm at all times. I also found the seats to be not to my liking.

Exactly, what's on offer over there is not what EQS buyers are looking for in a car. On the other hand, if the Taycan is your groove you're not going to like the EQS. Much like the Panamera and S Class they are not really competitors; they just share some commonalities.
Your Nov. 2021 post quoting me as you did above is a quote completely out of context. In it, I clearly shows, witness the italics that I was quoting someone else, not putting my thoughts up..
Shame on you.
Shame on you.
