The thing about Panamera's that worries me is that if you think the cost of maintaining an S Class is bad...... For example I happened to look at the replacement procedure for the front air strut on one. It was ungodly complicated compared to an S Class. You had to about disassemble the whole front suspension.

Who would own any of these cars outside of warranty?

I've had my V222 now soon 6 years out of warranty. Reading all these W223 news, the plan is to have the first car with the sort of extended warranty that is available for us (instead of the 2 year factory warranty).

Good on you for keeping the 222, I trust all well with that car.

223 is a technological mine field IMO. Roll the dice and see. Warranty a must if planning on owning.
