Remote Parking assist app.

I cannot find the Remote Parking Assist app in Apple's store (US). I am pretty sure that I saw it there few weeks ago. Not having the app in my iPhone, renders the feature unusable. Any suggestions?

I have not heard of this. What does it supposedly do?

I’ll believe it when I see it. Nothing came up in App Store and the dealer didn’t mention it.

What is it that you do not believe? The app appearing in App Store or the remote parking feature? The App appears fine on my Android phone and it works with the car.

It's not available in the US for Android devices. I couldn't find it for the apple too. At this time it's only available in Europe and other countries. We only have Mercedes me for remote start, unlock lock doors etc.

My understanding is that every state in the USA still requires a licensed driver to be behind the wheel when the car is moving…our laws need to be updated

According to an inside source at the AMG Private Lounge, MBUSA is refusing to support these companion apps, which is why they are not available in the USA yet. It's not just this one, but also the AMG Track Pace app, and we still don't get all the Mercedes me connect services in the USA that are available in other markets. Supposedly, Germany is in negotiations with MBUSA to support these apps for US customers, but at the moment we are being shortchanged.

Don't those vehicles do nothing more than allow the owner to park the car (or pull out) of a parallel or perpendicular spot while in OR NEAR the vehicle? That is significantly less than MB is doing in Germany.
