collision notification function
it's supposed to take photos of the area of the car that has an incident should such occur whilst parked - eg, fender bender by inadvertent driver in parking lot.
but wondering if all cars have the feature menu on their screen settings...or if it may have been deleted in certain cars (as the first photo i posted is from a demuro review, which could've been a pre-model vehicle).
OR if the control of the function has been migrated completely to the mercedes me app. cuz i actually found it there🤷♂️.

possible to attach an ext hdd that's as large as 5tb, that will also hold movies to be viewed on the screen?

i'm thinking this may be an unforseen deletion due to chips😔
the only section of the mbux where i see any indication of this feature is under dashcam (which is under apps). but unclear if this is strictly the front cam for collisions whilst in motion or if all cams take photos based on location of incident whilst parked and alarm on.
still, doesn't have the preference selections as shown in the first photo.

I bought a 250G which is more than enough. Doesn’t seem to be any oppty to watch movies like my 2016 S550. Plugs in right in front of cup holders. USB-C type
cuz i found the collision notification controls under a different section of the menu...
Vehicle > Open/Close > Vehicle Protection > Collision Notification
if any others also need help finding their way thru the labyrinth, as the user manual is detailing the prior OS.
see photos...
