I am experiencing the following issue - when selecting my user profile I get the message on dash “digital lights - warnings off”. If I select to use the car with no user profile selected I immediately get the message “digital lights - warnings on”. I tried looking into my profile to see if there is an option to toggle warning on/off for the lights but could not find anything either in the car or online by accessing my profile from
the laptop.
does anyone have any ideas?

I am getting the very same messages in my new EQE SUV when changing between two profiles.
My Setup Menu looks exactly like yours.
Can you take a picture of right lower side of the dash? There should be a symbol of white light with A in the middle.
Interesting. See my picture below. Note - this picture was taken after I started the car and did NOT see the "digital light warnings off" message.
What I have not paid attention to before is whether or not the white symbol with an "A" on it appears on the occasions when I start the car and see the "digital light warnings off" message.
I will pay closer attention during the coming days.
In my case when I purchased the car it was included in the order: P35 digital light and 318 digital light.
It had recently a firmware update, probably that message started appearing after that. However, yesterday night, I did a test in a dark road, and both with a profile selected and not selected, digital lights are working well (noticeable dark rectangles when we cross other cars). Seems that, despite that message, digital lights are always available.
I have a question, you told “wont available when a profile in use” - that means that “warnings off” means is in use? I was assuming that “digital lights warnings on” was some kind of feature active, and off inactive.

I think you need PAX in addition to P35 and 318.
I am ASSUMING that Digital Light Warnings are always on, unless I see the "warnings off" message. BUT I have not driven yet in conditions where I would expect to see the digital warnings. Must try this soon!
To me, "Digital Warnings" mean more than just dark rectangles on the road. I expect them to be something more like shown in the link below:
I don't think DL have anything to do with profile, at least in my case.
The warnings include things like road signs, pedestrians, or any obstacles on the road ahead.
Also not sure why wouldn't you select a profile when you get in the car? Just make sure your digital lights are activated.

We DO select our respective profiles when entering the car. The "Digital Light Warning OFF" message seems to occur ONLY when the next driver/profile selected is NOT the same as the previous driver/profile selected.
It's repeatable...so at least I have something I can show the dealer service at some point. I'm not going to make a special appointment just for this anomaly.

Do you have another profile setup in the 'manage users' on the app? And that user has a separate app installed on her phone with the same items selected as yours?

Hmmm...you may be onto something! Yes, there is another profile setup for the second user of the car. And that user has the MMe app on an iPhone. I will spend some time comparing the two phones/apps side-by-side to see what I can discover.
