W223 S-Class Service Reset Procedure
I've been trying for several days to reset the service reminder on our 2022 S223 S-class via the steering wheel touch pad buttons after an oil change 
There are a few videos on how to do it out there but I just can't seem to get the multi-button-press-hold-timing thing to work or they are showing video procedures not compatible with the US version of W223.
Can anyone verify the correct functioning way to reset the Service Reminder on the 2022 S223 S-Class? Has anyone state side got it to work?
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Yes, at some point, but there's more to it than that I believe.
It will probably start like "make sure all doors, hood and trunk are closed. Then press start button once with key fob present. Then press X button on steering wheel for 5 seconds, then within 2 seconds press Y button, then scroll to Z and repeat long press of X and so on yada yada...until Service Assistant menu appears" Then select the oil type used. Then the "This can not be undone" warning shows. Enter.
Maybe someone can show the correct MB service manual procedure unless MB techs use the computer to do it. There should be a manual way to reset it for those Sahara Desert wayward service centers

I mean it is an S-Class, I guess the majority (at least the demographic of buyers of the S-Class) let people do it but that isn't our point here is it, I mean, it is still a car and to be fair oil change is just as simple as other MBs. I want to help but I need to find the latest Xentry Tips documents on this procedure with NTG 7.0 (myMBUX 7.0) which I have no luck finding yet.

I finally got into the service reset area by some kind of luck using a mix between the first two videos listed above on just the W223. Thank you for posting.
Couldn't duplicate it again right away so I'll cross that bridge again when the time comes. Critical Timing of long press and no press on the steering wheel buttons and ignition switch deployment is part of it. Felt like I was picking an electronic lock which in a sense was the lock to pick to keep you from having to go to the MB dealer. Maybe a little bit of practice and I'll retain some muscle memory next time.

for the non - amg steering wheel you just need to wait 10 seconds holding the home button and then same thing on the ok button. and press the home button once and now you acsessed the service menu.

2023 S500 getting shortcut menu vs service menu
I have tried all combinations of the YouTube video instructions, including holding the HOME button for 10 seconds and then the OK button for 10 seconds. When I hold the OK button I keep getting the shortcut info window and not the service window. I can not get to the service menu or the Workshop. I do however have a SERVICE display, where it shows that my maintenance is overdue and the status of my oil, but no ability to change/update it. Any thoughts?
