S Class in Canada
Until recently, the S Class was offered only as an S500 short wheelbase and an S580 long wheelbase in Canada.
The Mercedes Canada website now lists both S500 and S580 as long wheelbase, with the same dimensions.
Did they eliminate the short wheelbase model? I was hoping to replace my swb 560 with a newer swb model (the lwb is just too long for city parking - and my garage).

Using MB Canada website to search inventory nationwide, there seems to have only 1 new 2022 SWB S500 still available.

MBWorld Fanatic!
While it won't help the garage, the 10 degree steering makes the car much more nimble in town. Almost has to be seen to be believed, it's truly game changing in the lots.

Yup they removed it in line with others that commented here, that is what my SA told me.

I wonder if there are not enough takers for the SWB? Some also prefer the look of the LWB more which might be why, I don't think our garages can fit LWB W223, it will need to be parked outside. The parking spots in public places are also short, really confused (other than low sales) why MB Canada discontinued it.

I guess it is the same reason, for example we used to have C 63 and C 63 S variants, people will be like if I were to get a C 63 might as well get the C 63 S for some more.
Mercedes North America has been dropping a lot of things including European Delivery, Burmester 3D High End for GLE and E-ABC for GLE and some paint options, like Cavansite blue. S-Class still have Nautical blue but other vehicle models don't seem to be getting this.
Funny thing is both Cavansite blue and Nautical blue were old MB colours, I think Nautical was brought back since the W223 S-Class, these blue colours are just elegant and not too shouty which I like but I guess people mainly prefer more common colours.

I do not see a Cavansite Blue though.
