Let me start by saying I love the car and the way it drives. That said, I have a few frustrations with it. My husband and I each have our profiles with passcodes, yet just about every time I get in the car after he's used it, all of my seat settings are gone. The alerts that should go off when we're in reverse to warn us that someone or something is behind us don't always go off. The trunk will no longer open all the way, and when I push it open further to get stuff out, it closes. We had our second service, which included an update to the electronics, and we lost ALL of our settings. Nothing strikes more fear in me than a computer update. Is anyone else experiencing these issues?

Welcome to our world of the W223’s! A handful of owners report virtually no issues. Most everyone else is experiencing all sorts of issues, from losing favorites, to door handles with a mind of their own, to dead batteries and then some folks get into worse & much worse in a few instances. Nice cars, but MB is still working out the bugs.

There should be a 3 month, no questions asked return policy on W223s whether new or used.

The cars do not come with 4-Zone climate as standard, it is an option. If you don’t see controls just behind your center console storage bin/armrest, you don’t have it.

WT...It wasn't listed as an option. We'd totally have added rear passenger air controls!

23 S580 Executive
You gotta go exec to get the 4 zone, makes it a rather pricey box to check.

I am so sorry, but I was mistaken. But as Mr. Crab said, it would appear that the only way to get 4-zone is with the Executive Line model, which is S580 only. Yet another, ridiculous, MBUSA marketing decision.

My screen went blank. This is the third or fourth time it's happened. Has anyone else had this happen?

If you dig enough in the vehicle settings, there's an option for half opening and full opening for the trunk. I found it by accident and If I get a chance and you still haven't figured it out, I'll take a screenshot.

Can’t you associate a key with a profile so it remembers it and your settings each time that key is used? I think the proximity sensors can be turned off as well in the settings so maybe your husband turned them off and you’re stuck using his profile.

I'll look for that setting! If my husband changed settings, it was inadvertently. I suggested that he not make any more changes while I'm figuring it all out. I don't blame him for trying. 🤷🏽‍♀️

The option to link a profile to a key is described in the manual but it does not appear in the car, unless the latest SW updates covered it.
