In the manual they say the rain sensor will close the lid while the car is in motion. To me that they specify "in motion" is exclusionary. What we need here is for one of you young experimental types to open the lid, spray with the garden hose, and see if it closes.

Here’s another one: Did you know if you press and hold the power button (to the left of the volume control) for 5 to 7 seconds, It will perform a soft reset on the MBUX system. I’ve used this several times to fix small issues. Don’t worry, you won’t lose any of your presets or configurations like a hard reset would.
Once you hold the power button for 5 seconds, the system will restart. Wait about 10 seconds and everything should be back to normal.
