Perhaps use guest profile instead of your own? Not sure if there is any setting to deactivate the welcome message from your own profile.

Maybe that somebody wasn't kind to the car and the car missed you?

I guess turn off controlled access so it automatically logs you in if you are the only driver? https://mbworld.org/forums/s-class-w...pin-entry.html

Does it say "welcome back" and then your name? If so, yes this can be disabled. We turned it off.

The "how" part is what is missing. I can't seem to find a setting for it.

While she is speaking the whole "welcome back" thing, in the top right corner there's a little button with a symbol of a person talking and "Deactivate"

You have to be really quick about it and try to press that before you're logged in, it's not there for very long. Sometimes the warning message/legal disclaimer thing also pop-ups at the top of the screen and covers/partially covers the "Deactivate" button.

If you push the little head at the top of the screen, it takes you into a menu tree where you can disable the welcome or customize it. I've forgotten the exact route, but it's in there somewhere, and not too big to parse in a quick menu dive. At least it is if I remember correctly, which is questionable; I'm old.

Aha! I I think I do recollect seeing that at some point and you're right it disappears really fast and I get a lot of interim messages before I actually see that so I guess I'll have to figure out how to get to it after those messages. Appreciate the help.

I thought the same when I got my car! Go to Home- Settings - System - Proactivity and turn it off. You can also turn off the reminder for your phone.
