Seat memory is acting weird

The car is not supposed to adjust seats automatically to any seat memory setting (excluding easy entry adjustments). The car is supposed to automatically adjust seats according to the selected profile. Even then if you apply seat memory position 1 while your profile is active, that setting should be stored to your profile and you sort of should get memory #1 adjustments when next time entering the car and selecting your profile (if not already selected).
I've just found this profile memory a bit unreliable (mainly on wife's car, our W223 is hardly driven by anyone else).

I think it might be moving to seat memory 2 or 3. I’ll have to check.
Anyone else experience this?
If it randomly trying to load 2 or 3 maybe I’ll just save the same position for all three spots.
Here's the crazy thing I stumbled upon. If I place my iPhone on the wireless charger first, then start the engine, the Easy Entry/Exit feature will not position the seat/steering wheel for driving. If I hold off putting the phone on the wireless charger until after I start the engine, the Easy Entry/Exit feature positions the steering wheel/seat perfectly for driving every time. Don't ask me how I ever figured this out, but it seems to be true.
Anyone else have this issue with the Easy Entry/Exit feature?

Well, that actually makes me feel better!! I thought I was going crazy. I might still be, but at least I've got a little company! LOL! I'm not sure we'll ever see a fix. Unfortunately, I think it's been too long now for MB to spend any time on a model year 2021 software fix, and so far it appears to be just the 2021's.
I think MB has "frothed" themselves into a technical mess regarding the whole MBUX system and all the model-specific issues they seem to have. They're so messed up at this point, I don't think they even have a clue as to how to address these issues moving forward. They just tried to incorporate too much, and it has come back to bite them in the butt.

It's brilliant that you were able to notice that.
I personally don't use the easy exit/entry feature, so I wouldn't know if mine does the same thing but I'll hold off putting my phone in the charger until after the ignition.
Who knows what other features it might mess up loading lol

I currently own a 2024 E450 AT that occasionally "re-adjusts" the seat position, even without using the easy-exit feature, and am close to trading it in for a 2025 S-class, not due to the MBUX glitches (but because of mediocre LED headlights) so hearing of similar problems with the S is almost reassuring.... But relative to the incorporating too much, just viewed a review of the S-class by "SavageGeese" who panned the car due to this "too much". issue. He said it was as if the engineering guys had "technical diarrhea " and just splattered it all over the car without considering the usability of that technology.
I don't know how 'mediocre' the W214 headlights were, but if you're not getting the Digital light on the W223 (I have no first-hand driving experience with it), the regular LED light isn't that impressive.
The auto high-beam activation is kinda cool with the pattern looking like a opening/closing light curtain, but not THAT great.
Just so you know.
So now I think this goes beyond just putting the cell phone in the charger--I have confirmed 3 times over the last 2 days that if I put the driver's seatbelt on before starting the engine...the Easy Exit/Entry function won’t adjust to the driver position as well and I have to press a seat memory setting (like "1"). FYI--I did not put the phone in the charger at this time. Usually, I get in the car, start the engine, put the seat belt on, then put the phone in the charger. Everything works fine if I do it that way--but I think my car is possessed! LOL!
If you put your seatbelt on before starting the engine, does the Easy Exit/Entry function not adjust?
This may be a safety issue to prevent the seatbelt from tightening too much for smaller drivers, especially if there was a larger driver in the car just before?
First thing I do when I get in the car is hitting the ignition switch, followed by the auto stop-off button.
Nearwater...you're too funny. First thing I do when I fire up the engine is hit the auto shut-off button as well!!
