the Sticker was $137,570 so it took it down to $112,570. Noted on the lease return. I didn’t dig into it too much. Keep in mind the Amex discount was as high as $10,750 last year around Oct thru the end of the year but options might be Limited depending on where you live (plus no guarantee that the current AMEX discount increases) let us know what you end up getting. Good luck!

Thats great, very similar to the deal this broker quoted me.

I can't get a dealer to give me any kind of deal anywhere near that even on a leftover 23.

Does anyone know if the AMEX discount applies to the S63?

If I was returning a lease that was a 21 or newer they could add another $5,000 off but I did not qualify for that as I did not have a lease vehicle to return. I had called 3 other dealers to price match and none of them would do it. I was told they sold me the car at a loss as they needed to move it off the floor. Whether that was the case or not I was still happy with the deal. But this took nearly 6 months of waiting and checking in with them.
Curious about the Amex discount, how does it work, on what models, and any other brands?

The current AMEX is $5750 off all 2024 S580's. At the dealer you will log into your AMEX account to get a voucher certificate which will code the dealer the discount. They can walk you through it as they did with me. The dealer gets this reimbursed from AMEX so the dealer is not losing money here. So the key is you should push for more discounts from the DEALER. I was able to get the dealer to come off their price by $19,250 so combined I was $25K off total.

Yes, there are other AMEX discounts on other cars....just go online and you can find them. They have higher discounts for the EQS and up to $10,750 off the 2023 S580s.

If you use the AMEX (fleet) incentive the dealer loses the $5k in dealer cash, so a 0 deal with the AMEX incentive would be 12.5% off MSRP minus $5,750.

If you qualify for the loyalty rebate then it would be 12.5% off MSRP minus $10,750

If you can get a dealer to give you 11% off before the AMEX rebate I would take it.
SW20S: are you saying there are TWO pockets of $5,000 available - $5,000 MIB from MBFS (finance/lease loyalty) AND $5,000 dealer cash (in addition to the MIB?). please ignore the amex angle discussion for my question.

Thats correct. If you qualify for the loyalty rebate you can stack that with either the $5,000 in dealer cash or the $5,750 AMEX rebate. So you can have loyalty AND the AMEX OR the dealer cash.

order v. inventory

What are people's experiences with discounts for ordering (not purchasing one already in inventory)? I just can't find what I want and am thinking about ordering one, since I am not in a big rush... but haven't talked to any dealers yet.

Honestly the best offer I have been given is on a special ordered car...you would think dealers would be really motivated to move cars on their lot but I have had a really hard time, even on 2023s in inventory over a year...
