Hi there, I am in the market of buying a S500. I am thinking to use bigger and wider rims in the future, possibility 21 or 22. My question is will I have issue with the rear axle steering? Has anyone tested this! I seem people put 22 but not sure if they when rear axle steering on theirs.
thanks in advance!

I'm also upsizing wheels to 22's and asked a few wheel manufactures if their wheels impede on the rear steering to which all have said it does not. There's also videos via the tube/social media showing folks that have upsized and clearly having rear wheel steering during their reels/videos. Originally Posted by D.Siu

There is a good reason for factory wheel/tyre options restrictions with 10 degree rear axle steering.

This has been discussed in one of the other posts, and am not sure if some of the members ended up trying it. Some of them were in contact with @EleBest , forum sponsor here, to code their W223 for 10 degrees rear wheel steering. Certainly works with the smaller wheels, but not sure if any of them tried it with the AMG body and larger wheels. EleBest claims on his YouTube channel that it was done. I have not seen a validation from forum colleagues yet, but this would have been probably one of the first thing I wouldn't mind risk testing if I had a W223 with the limited 4.5 degrees steering.
Thanks for sharing the vendor, @S W222. I'm very much happy with the 4 degree option and for me, it's more than enough for my needs. I can't imagine how tight a 10 degree turning radius feels like on a big sedan.
