YES. IT HAS THE SAME EXACT ISSUE. I HEARD THAT SWITCHING TO MICHELIN TIRES HELPS THE PROBLEM. IT'SAN EXTREMELY BEAUTIFUL CAR BUT I HAD TO GIVE UP AND GET RID OF IT DUE TO THE TIRE PROBLEMS. WOULD NEVER BUY ONE AGAIN

You mean the tires or the car, if you mean the car just get 20s and you can still buy the car.

i'm not a fan of the 255/285 size tires on my stock 20". regardless of brand (mine came with the hankook run flats), i think these are just too low profile for the OEM playdoh wheels.
how much taller can i go on the sidewall without compromising the speedo and any steering issues? 265/295?
i'd much prefer the softer ride with taller sidewall...and, if i decide to go ghost drop links later on, the fatter tires would fill out the space better without having to go 21" or 22".

i was mistaken...i should've said increase from 40/35 to 45/40 for F/R sidewalls.

You should be fine with 1 size-up on the profiles F&R - 40/35 to 45/40 on a 20" stock width (255/285).
When I was installing the upsized wheels with 255/40/21 & 285/35/21 I noticed how close the front tires were to the knuckle-upper arm.
I'm baffled how some people put 22" or even 24" on the W223

With the car on the lift (Quickjack) and wheels hanging down, there was maybe 1/4" left between the top of the front tires and the knuckle top.
It seemed physically impossible to fit anything larger than 22" with rubber band tires...

255/25/24 all around. No modifications necessary.
