PFL205.064 with M276.823 (Oil pump solenoid defeated)
So active body control is not air suspension then? Great, don't have to deal with airbags.

I think the performance of MBC and E-ABC for “normal” straight (but not perfect) road is exaggerated (just my personal opinion). I test drove a few W222s with MBC, and a few GLS, and had only one W223 I ever drove with EABC.
I do agree that that way it handles the car on curves feels like MAGIC. But, on straight roads with potholes, or somewhat rough roads, I found it to be less comfortable than Airmatic (in fact many YouTubers reported the same - it felt more stiff). Am not sure if it has a limit for handling signal with very short wavelength or whatever as opposed to curves and bouncy roads that cameras and sensor can easily detect in advance with enough time to adjust for it, but certainly that added hydraulic/oil based component caused the ride to be more stiff than Airmatic on straight rough roads (which is honestly 98% of the ride anywhere!).

I think your main issue with the 223 was the eABC. If you hadn’t had that and been frustrated with the ride I think you would have liked the car much more.
“Ask the man who owns one” I owned them both too lol

I guess I should also point out that all three of my new W222’s were ordered with 18” wheels and the run flat tires were immediately swapped out for Bridgestone QuietTrack non-run flats. These wheels & tires, coupled with the MBC resulted in the spectacular ride quality I have described. On numerous trips between our Orange County home and Napa Valley, on Highway 101, where one experiences roads from fabulous to garbage, my W222’s performed WAY better than my EABC equipped S580. Actually, there was really NO comparison. In my humble opinion, the W222 was a far superior car compared to the W223. The 233 had a more hushed interior, the A/C was better and the 4D Audio was better than the 3D in the 222, but THAT’S IT! Virtually EVERYTHING else was better in the W222’s. As the old Packard slogan used to say: “Ask The Man Who Owns One.”
I saw a Maybach just 2 days on the highway, and I noticed how the wheels were bouncing up/down dozens of times in a second when the body absolutely looked like a frozen body on a cloud.

Sounds like my S580, but all that wheel movement definitely made to the seat of my pants and it was horribly annoying.
