Adding Rear-Axle Steering or Traffic Light Notification to S580 2023?
I have an S-Class S580 2023 that didn't come with rear-axle steering or traffic stop light notification from the factory. I'm wondering if it's possible to add these features officially through Mercedes.
Has anyone done this or know if Mercedes offers an official retrofit?
Thanks!

I never heard of any case where Mbenz offered adding hardware/options that are not on the original build of the car, even if you pay them.

RAS can be retrofitted, but cost is high, and you need find a good workshop to do hardware installation.
Can explain a bit about the "Traffic Stop Light" you mentioned? you mean stop sign?
SSA (Stop Sign Assist) is useful in USA.

It's not a small change in parking lot action. Those times when you can get in going forward, but you're a little cockeyed in the spot because you didn't have enough room to get straight between the lines; with 10 the rear usually moves over enough as you turn in to get the car squared up without backing out and going back in to get it aligned.
I can go on and on with that, maybe others will see it different, but I'm no stranger to rear wheel and was very surprised by how much 10 added to the equation.
There are some oddities: The car can parallel park itself very well, but it's a little slow, so you'll do most of it yourself. When you're backing in and get to where you're going to flop the front in, as the front guess in, the rear is counter-steering and moves away from the curb. Takes a little different style to get it in there; you pick it up, it's just different.
The car also has an unusual feel to it at low speed, where it almost feels like the rear is falling out toward the side. It's hard to describe, and I never noticed it with the 4 degree stuff.
One thing about the car parking itself, it can get where no human can, it's almost laughable the doors it's willing to shoehorn itself into, another thing that catches you by surprise. If the car parks itself, you can also have the car take you out. Ever parallel and came back to the car to find yourself blocked in? The car can crab sideways going forward and in reverse, over and over, until it gets itself out. I did this in spot outside a coffee shop, with many spectators wowed over my mad skills. Of course it was all Mercedes, but know one needs to know.
Seriously, the 10 degree is probably one of the best bits of engineering on the car. It really works well, and adds more than I thought it would. Much more.

it works perfect on all tyre size below 21 inch (including 21inch)

"I am more than happy to assist you with you traffic light services. I understand how crucial it is to have access to the features Mercedes has to offer.
I apologize for the inconvenience this has caused you this far. I am reaching out to you with an update from our tier two team. They have confirmed the traffic light service has been sun downed and is no longer available."

there is another type of Traffic Light Assist like the one in China in the video below, might not be available in USA or available in very limited region of big cities, as it need all traffic lights are all connected with low latency network.
