My MBUX won’t be able to carrying out verbal request to open the windows (neither front nor back). I could however use verbal request to open the sunroof.

USA has strict regulations with things that moves in cars I heard, actually North America in general, so that might be why, doesn't explain why it lets you open the sunroof with the command though. In Europe, sunroofs can close itself when it detects rain (through the rain sensor) if the operator forgot to close it and it starts raining, a feature that isn't available in North America. Another feature is hold the circulation button to close all windows.

With a car with 100 miles on the clock. lol
No obstructed camera/lidar view.
Hope it's just a glitch
Yup usually a glitch but if it happens frequently, a software update is in order. Earlier versions of the mbux have some annoying glitches and bugs that thankfully is patchable as the update is available.

Thanks for the feedback. Yeah the Mercedes App shows no S/W updates available.
Is there a dealer-installed version that is not normally available thru OTA?

You're welcome and yes, there are even when it comes to OTA updates, it is likely it is staged so the fastest way to get those as well is through dealership.

After I asked “ hey Mercedes, open the driver’s window”, MBUx would reply “opening driver’s window” and yet the window would not open. The only way to open any window is to use the panel on the door.
