The 100 series was just more honest about its priorities.

Light bars etc. are taking over the space that used to be taken up by the air intakes. Gotta have to do something with those otherwise boring surfaces.
I think lights in general have always been a brand identity, way before EVs. It's just a natural progression from pop-up headlights on Corvettes and Miatas to the halos on BMWs, eyebrows/string of pearls on Audis; Dodge had the light bar way before EVs did. Part of that change is proportion as designers go bigger and bolder, but it's not limited to EVs as the same lights are reflected onto their ICE counterparts, and like you said: EVs lost grilles/exhausts, so lights tend to stand out even more.

Wait whaaaaa? I need the air vent under the steering wheel pointed at my crotch. Nothing worse than dressing up for work and getting out of the car with the crotch sweat stain/mark! Embarrassing. I'm such a hot body. And no, the "ventilated" seats don't help. Back in the day I had a Volkswagen Phaeton W8. A car made well before it's time. It didn't have ventilated seats, it literally pumped A/C through the seats. To this day, I've never seen a car with that feature. Never a sweaty ball to be found with this feature!

The old Lexus models has active cooling seatsz don't know when they changed it but the new ones only have ventilation now. Ford/Lincoln still offer actively cooled seats.

You gonna try to age me like that? Says the person driving an elderly persons car (Caddy DTS) I can't be the only one who sweats in the crotch area. I tend to run hot. It's fine for denim but in dress pants depending on the color I literally have to point the vents at my crotch before exiting the vehicle. Otherwise sweat marks. Less of a problem now that I work from home full time

Must be all the junk I got going on down there. 😂 😂

This thread really took a turn. 😂

Swamp-a$$ is a real disease and deserves the same respect that wet crotch receives ... seriously, gentlemen, let's be respectful to both.

Ha! Can't argue with that. And my comments were made in jest. Not to be taken seriously.

Too late. We're taking this very seriously. A Presidential commission is being formed to investigate the disparity in lower-torso climate control. This is the great ergonomic-seat-comfort crisis of our time.

Great, from sweaty ***** to cancer. Didn't that stuff cause cancer? I've tried Gold Bond and something with the word "*****" in it (can't remember the name). Both worked pretty good, but ultimately the caking of white powder wasn't all that great either.

The lights are gaudy but all-in-all it’s much better than the EQ series bubble cars. This is how they should have electrified their fleet to begin with. The overall shape is good in my opinion and looks like an updated GLC.

Have to admit I had issues with the large, flat grille. But it's growing one me, and the overall shape of the vehicle is quite attractive, as is the anticipated range of 450 miles. I still have an issue with the star running lights in front. The look fine in a straight on view, but weird if you're slightly off center. Will have to see it in person.....

It is always the case, seeing it in person always looks better I look forward to seeing it in person as well.
