These MBUX versions are a little confusing. Listening to one of the MBUX information videos, it said the versions were MBUX Gen 2 (NTG 7) and then MBUX Gen 3 (NTG 7.5)
Where the "before" image in Max's initial post shows MBUX Gen 2 (NTG 7).
So what version is the before image then? 26.0? Is it reported anywhere in the settings/info pages?

software wise:
I think 26.0 26.1 is like version series sent to OTA.
but not everyone got OTA smoothly for unknown reason.
in diagnosing system we can see SOP1 SOP3, FUP2.7, 3.1, 3.2, 4.0, 4.1, 5.0
in MBUX system info page: we can see Exxx.xxx. xxx the larger the newer.

Steve and Max, I confirmed that my 2023 is on Software version RL_NTG7_E505.404_24441AC3 with 2.6.1 installed OTA last year.

Max is gonna do mine! I'm waiting on another ethernet dongle from Amazon so I can hook the laptop up to the router over ethernet so we don't have wifi problems like we had last time. Gonna have him do the sliding turn signals too

Had very similar issue with my GLS that wouldn’t update to newer OTAs. Dealer kept telling me you have to wait and were clueless although mine was stuck on a very old release.
Max @EleBest then also did mine when he coded other items for Carplay full screen and wireless. Thank you for offering great services that even our dealers failed to address.
