My order turned RED the other day, which means fully frozen and no more changes. Because of my interior and exterior colors, my order became a PA1 and the production date was moved from May 22nd to August 24th.
I was expecting something like this but was hoping it wasn't going to be so long. Maybe it will move up a little, that is what happened on my last PA4 order.
How did you know your order turned “red?” Did the dealer tell you. I really wish Mercedes was like Porsche and allowed OCD order tracking.

By the way, in the end, I changed the interior wood from H38 to H17. I realize this may not be a popular decision, but I really thought it looked better.

Obviously, they can’t sell what they can’t price. There’s no way the OP gets delivery of his vehicle without a price. That MSRP has to come soon. The big question is how much does Mercedes jack up the prices in the face of more dumb tariff uncertainty? Before the 25% announcement, I was confident that the MSRP increase would have been slightly above average but still reasonable. I don’t feel that way anymore.

I am in the process of ordering one but was told the Exclusive Nappa Leather won’t be available until late 2027 due to supply issues. Dealer is suggesting I order regular Nappa. What have you been told about delivery with Exclusive?
The dealer definitely understands (I have been buying cars from the same guy for 35 years). When he went to put the order in the MBN system, a note popped up on the ordering system that the Exclusive Nappa will delay production until later in the year since MB has a supplier issue until the fall. The regular Nappa Leather is available. I'm wondering if anyone else can validate it?

Was it a package that caused this notice or was it a choice of the leather color? Was it one of the standard colors or was it a special PA1 order color?
Not a package, it was the leather. Not sure if it was ALL or just the one I selected which was the Exclusive macchiato beige. He told me the regular macchiato beige is available now. The exclusive will be available in the fall.

That is a standard color so ordinarily, should not be a problem. I wonder what part of the the leather option is causing the delay.
I had a May 22nd production date and it was changed to 8/24 but that was because it was a custom PA1 order.

If you remember I had an order out of Vegas for a Prod date May 4th. That got kicked back to July Aug w a Silver Verde color that was restricted. Then I changed dealerships, got a new date of May 29 and picked Cirrus Silver Magno, which gave me a new prod date of Jun 29th, and it's still listed as that today. Hope it sticks.
