2027 Fully Loaded S Class on the way

I don't know if you recall, but I had a fully loaded 7 series that I loved, which I bought in 2023 when I looked at both cars. At that time I had thought that BMW had done a better job. This year, I am really excited about the new S class and looking forward to driving this new car.
Here is my build, nothing left off.

Still love your "old" S Class ride you had that was a black color and dark brown interior (when you lived in San Francisco--think you moved to Texas?) that was a "custom" build before the days of Manufactur. I noticed you did not have the 1st class airline style tables in the rear like you did in the old ride. As I looked at the early Dealer Order Guide it did not appear that it was available. My last three S classes had those tray tables of which my '25 S63 E Performance had them but MBUSA just did a lemon law buyback on that one. Waiting for the '27 S63 AMG to come out and plan to order that but hopefully with the tray tables in rear.
Nice build!!

I really like where the S is going exterior wise, but you spent all that money for that interior? Lol.

From what I understand, it may be possible that the S63 may not come until next year. Hope that doesn't present a problem if it's true. I am also trying to find out if the lack of the 4 seats is a timing issue, or if that is a policy change to only be offered on the Maybach. I will report back if I can find out.
In any event, it was great to connect once again with you and hope you have been well.

I know they charge a lot for the interiors, but once I saw my wife's MAYBACH, I wanted the same interior. Every surface is leather, there is no plastic anywhere, which is very nice.

I rushed in to order. But literally 24 hours later they said MBUSA sent an email saying my new production date in July 29 - 12 weeks delay without any explanation.

I know it will seem like forever for you to get your car, but hopefully when you pick it up, it'll be worth the wait.

The exterior on the other hand - brand new color VERDE SILVER MAGNO. Maybe.
Back in the day, yes all these colors would go thru PA1, but now all those "custom" colors are the selling point for MB to say "there are hundreds of color options"

cheers
Oh... also, they arent charging that PA1 custom order fee.

PA1 may have been around $10k maybe a little less and you could custom many many things whereas today it is more individual so you you can pay $10,500 for Maufactur interior AND $9,500 for Manufactur exterior paint. I seem to remember on one of Lovin's custom interiors he had a special order steering wheel with the PA1 cost. Also remember he had some issues with the installation of that special order steering wheel. The things I remember and I can't remember what I had for lunch!
