E55 guy here with a question for S55 guys.

Anyone ever run the S55 at the drag strip. Just curious as to what times they run. Trying to get a comparison as to acceleration to the E55. I hear it's only just a few tenths off. That's fast!

Thinking of making the upgrade to the S55.

Oh yeah, so NEW body style will be on sale late next year or early....any idea.

Pretty quick, you can do 0-100 in about 10.1 secs, on a greasy surface even when the launch isn't that good and 0-125mph in about 15.5 secs

I know it is to be unveiled in Frankfurt in September.

I bet in the states early next year.

Wow!!!!! I mean Wow!!!!!!!! That S55 is really fast, the video says it all. By watching those videos clips made my mind to get the S55 instead of S430. I'm sure this car can out run the new Vette, Viper and on a 1/4 mile. I was watching the speedometer and it reaches like 100mph in 8-10secs. That's amazing!!!

Get the W220, or a W221. But way too big though, feels like a boat to drive.

I almost bought an S55, but decided on the E55 due to the size. It's like a boad compared to the E-Class. If I was gonna get any S-Class, I'd wait and pick up a W220 S65 on the cheap once the W221 comes out.
