This is not McDonald's, but I'm Lovin' It
See, now this is beautiful...I don't know what they were thinking when they added the off-road package on the outside though...Still can't warm up to the look...It's going to take some time. These new designs are too extreme! What happened to the "big body" look? I love that!

Mercedes all the way!
yeah it's a PCMCIA - but i read that it'll be able to fit a mobile hard drive for the nav.
ah, door locks on the doors - i always thought it rather strange to be on the centre console but i still don't understand why there needs to be one to lock, and another to unlock - why not just one?

whoever said it is right; this is a major improvement in look and feel quality of the interior. very exciting to think that the first satisfying implementation of the "idrive"/video-centric jogwheel-based command/control center will come from benz.
...to be followed 6 months later by a close imitation by Lexus featuring a more sterilized ride and softer leather, no doubt...

amg2go: heh, no plans to apply there anyway
on my japmobile, there's only one rocker switch - if i press it to "unlock", all doors unlock; if i press it to "lock", all doors lock, no matter what position they were in. the advantage is i only need to look in one place. on the W220 i always forget which button is lock and which is unlock :p

I love the fact that the speedometer area is all not fixed in one look. You can change it to the new infra-red highbeam, i think the Idrive-ish controoller needs a redesign doesn't look good. When you look at the interior pics that aren't close ups the interior looks like crap. But when i see the close-ups it's actullay pretty nice.
