k2 mods
just sent my 03 s55 down to chris chapas at c2 design in tampa to get my k2 mods done. ecu,pulley,headers,i/c,lsd, and kleeman lowering mudule. did a baseline run on the dyno and it put out 440hp and 515tq. how does that baseline sound in comparison to other stock amg models

That are some good numbers...wow I'm kind of scared to get my car dynoed now. Car has been feeling a tad bit slow these days. Alot of the 55 motors have been gettin some really high numbers and I don't want to be the lowest...regardless...hope the best for you buddy!~! post some pics when ya get it back...

chris said those numbers were a little high and that they usually do 430/465. so he didnt know if it was a strong car or a strong dyno, either way i'm sure i'm going to love it when i get it back. i'll post pics as soon as i get it

Chris's repuation is flawless and his work is second only to the masters in Colorado Springs, but I must admit that is the 2nd super high dyno number coming out of his dyno.
Tony also got dyno numbers that were almost a record for stock.
Just interesting.

Very numbers nice!!! Have Chris e-mail you the dyno sheet and post it up.
BTW, how did you drive the car when it was brand new? Did you take it easy or drive it very hard right from the beginning??
Chris Chapas uses Z-Fever in Tampa for their dyno work. They have a newer dynojet model 248 in their shop.

You might not want to post that info jenk in case you want to sell to a forum member down the line. But yeah we hit the strip, prolly a couple times (4,5) a year.
BTW your right about the vette, I'm just now finding out that the transmission and rear end are weak and people switch to autos to keep from breaking them. Grrrrrrr. I dont want an auto!!!!!!! Gotta find a way around it. So for the time being traction is not my friend. Let me know when you get the S back. Now your gonna make me spend more money on the M to keep up.

so what are you going to do about the vette, its not worth having all that hp if its going to break down everytime you try to run it hard. and i dont think i could sell my baby to anyone else, so i dont mind putting that info out there

yeah i'm sure one day i will want something else, but for the time being i'm happy with what i got. i knew you could fix that prob. with the traction. how much is it for a new tranny and rear end. who in their right mind would want a car with 2000hp.
