bad luck with '04 s55
This morning abs light came on and so malfunction, visit shop soon.... and they said bad sensor on brake, new sensor will be here tomorrow morning.
Never had to visit shop with previous toyotas.
fuel sensor problem made it break down, parktronic sensors faulty, front brakes have had to be replaced, comand turns itself off every so often, telephone refuses to recognise phone occasionally, drivers seatbelt sometimes wont release from the holder etc
Weird 'cos I love it!
The weekend is for the SL55 then
You always have to have a spare Mercedes

Instant update 2: The car is being relocated monday from one workplace to the other (of the same dealership) as the ones (not my regular workshop) can't seem to figure it out. The suspicion is back on the alternator, not the alternator itself, but a pulley/clutch that makes it not spin around like it should.
I'm anxious to hear the next explanation.

They wouldn't swap the alternator because they wanted to be 100% sure so not to present me with bills for nothing.
So, it took 3 weeks (10 days at one location where they did nothing other than order a new alternator for nothing, then 11 days in the other where they actually fixed it).
The bottom line is this, like your S55 the fun part outweights and compensates for everything else.LOL! Cheers my Friend!!!
