Both cars are getting the Kleemann catalog dumped under the hood and in the drivetrain.

SL55 is getting the header/pulley/ECU kit along with a dew body mods. This car is definetly a little faster than the CLS55 stock for stock.

S65 is getting ECU/air filters which adds a retarded 120HP and 150TQ, and I'm removing the resonators for some more music. I dynoed it this morning and it made 510rwhp, bone stock, should make over 600rwhp with the work! Then I drove it down rt80. Daaaaaaaaaaaaaaammmmmmmmmmmmmmnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn!!! !! Definetly not the fastest thing I've ever driven, but it was unreal!!!!! It will unload the tires cruising at 40mph! It should be done soon and I'll get it back next month to rip the rear out to rebuild to a true LSD. It is BS MB didn't add a real LSD to a $200,000 car. We should have the custom 22 inch HRE's I ordered, in the middle of winter and wrap them with the widest ****in tires ever created by man.

It is my shop, but not my cars, they are clients cars. We've worked on more exotics and expensive cars than I can remember to list. Shop is getting major improvements this winter. I know it looks tough, but we're so swamped with these higher end cars, it's hard to focus on anything but customer demand. It's funny you say that about my shop. Not even 2 hours ago before I left work I dropped $5000 for 3 new shop doors, and $3000 for a new center lift. I need a little more time to soarce a guy to redo the outside of the shop in stucco. It isn't the money, but the time to find the right guy to do it and stay out of my way. Thanks for the comments though.

I'm not the guy who owns the cars, I build the cars. I am an authorized Kleemann dealer and installer here in NJ. We have extensive MB AMG experience.

Teutonic, yes premods. The ECU should be back from Kleemann tomorrow at 10am. I'll let you guys know what she dyno's afterwards.

BTW for the record, the new W221 chasis S class dyno's without going through a crazy procedure like the E/S/CLS/SL 55's. You just turn the traction off, get it in third gear and let her rip! BTW, it was 510rwhp bone stock.

Dont sweat how your shop looks, I have had many shops that look so clean you think they dont do work in them jack my cars up. As long as you know your s&%t and my car comes out faster then when it went in thats all I care about. Dont waste your money on your shop unless you need to but if the work is coming in.

Hey I had no idea man so sorry for ripping on the apperance of your shop I guess you really can't judge a book from the cover like the saying says. Good luck w/the upgrades!!

I'd like to say 1 more thing my opinion wasn't based so much on the run down neighborhood, or size, or cost of your garage doors etc..

A clean work area makes a proper enviornment to produce quality goods, or in your case upgrade, tune cars, Forget all the new doors, lifts, etc how bout trying to clean that place up a bit that is a major reflection to the potential customer as to the care you will possibly take w/there high-end autos.

But hey what the hell do I know you must be doing something right!

Thanks for the kind words, I really do appreciate them!!! I really do need new garage doors and I really want the place to look as professional as the work we turn out. We are insanely meticulious with these amazing machines, which sometimes pure strangers entrust to us, so it's time to get my "other" act in place. I try to take pics of the cars and cut the old ratty building out, and the back ground out in the shop. Soon I wont worry about it too much more. Thanks for the words again!!

I second this.... On the 65, an ECU tune and filters do not give you 120 HP.... you may see 35 HP at the wheels if you are lucky.

Typical RWHP on 65 cars is around 525 stock.

Please post the dyno graphs when you are done. The uncorrected ones......

For me it doesn't matter what a shop looks like, I either have to know the guy or get referred. Granted if I was just driving down the street and saw an unkempt place I wouldn't stop, but if by word of mouth or I knew the tech there then that is where I would go. In this car game with how much it costs to get work done and the disparity of quality among techs if you get someone who is good, regardless of shop, you have to stay with it. Of course all you guys are just worried about getting your AMGs beefed up I am sure when you have problems they are still under warranty and you go to the dealer. Just my $.02

This is the only reason I didn't drop everything and have my shop redone the second I started to work on high end stuff. 100% of the people who come through are reffered or know me, so thy dont care what it looks like, but are always trying to tell me to redo it, then I tell them I have no time to think about it. LOL. Not a humun off the street comes into my shop from seeing it as he passes on the street, other than the regular repair/maintenance type of work which are usually "normal" cars. To think about it, a few people with "nicer/better" cars have stopped in from seeing the shop only because there's an arsenal of amazing cars outside sometimes. I pull them all outside sometimes to attract a little attention. Not too much though.

Both Renntech and Kleeman ECU/TCU remappings remove the torque limitation that AMG uses to protect the transmission from peak torque over its certification max of 1000 N-m (738 ft-lb). This means that at the engine's natural peak point (around 3,000 RPM, I think) torque is increased by way more than 100 ft-lb and HP correspondingly so. But the torque increase is not nearly as dramatic at high RPMs (since the engine's "natural" torque falls off rapidly), so peak HP is not improved as much.

This is why Kleeman claims both 127 HP/222 ft-lbs and 78 HP/92 ft-lbs for the ECU on the same page.

Keeping it like that may be a good idea if you are overwhelmed w/ your work already....

I have been keeping my side business low profile (only by referrals or word of mouth) while beefing up the resources. I just don't want people to know that I am not ready to take more work. The damage from having unsatisfied customers would be too much of a burden.
