I find this discussion actually very interesting, id like to see more pics of your nice homes, i have a bit of a passion for realestate / luxury homes !
I happen to know someone that is 23 and ownes a realestate developing company and is currently building a house that will easily be $ 3 million + by the time it is finished and he by no means "Brags" about it !
Oh Yeah he is also thinking about buying a new benz, and im pointing him toward the ML63 !

I have to say that is very impressive!! Your car just screams class.
I heard a rumor that Jeff Gordon (who has a home here) has a S65 and took it down to Homestead where his team had the track for a few days to do some testing. Sources have it that Jeff had the crew chief arrange for the ECU to be "massaged" to remove the speed limiter. They proceeded to run some pace laps and found that the S65 was as fast on the top as the NASCAR stockers, used about 2/3s as much fuel, all the while with the A/C and CD playing in the background!!! One of the crew present for this was reported to here Gordon say that "If Mercedes ever decides to get into this...it's over for everybody else".
Beautiful car...thanks for sharing.

Did you ever find out where you heard that from??? I would love to find an article or something about Jeff Gordon owning an S65.

A friend of mine is Jeff Gordon's jet pilot and lives in NC now due to the job requiring him to live there. I do not know if he would be comfortable asking Jeff if he has the the S65 but next time I speak to him I will ask if he has seen it.

Congrats on your S65 - Purchased mine in November same color, etc. In the area of gripes (albeit small ones, things that don't make sense) I elected to get the Satellite radio Option. When you are in normal FM radio mode the song name, artist and station scroll across the screen. Not in Satellite mode. You can only see song information by selecting INFO on menu bar. Other cars scroll the info (it's possible) so I have no idea why MB decided not to. It's just one of those strange nuances you can't explain. Other then that it's a head turner and most things are good in. I agree with you other observations though, and probably would add the IPOD integration as workable but pretty lame. For a world class car you would expect a tighter more user friendly setup

Wow beautiful car man. I don't see why some people here are trying to antagonize you, or even tell you how you should go about purchasing a home or the ratio of home price to car price, I'm sure its a lecture you don't deserve and its completely unwarranted.
I checked out your company's website, very impressive and I love the casual/edgy look, however there are a few misspellings that should be shored up. Once again I'm not trying to criticize, but it is the gateway to your business and as such should be as shiny and flawless as possible to reflect how you do business.

This thread is ridiculous. To start, love2ski, congratulations. You have a beautiful car collection, house and daughter, all of which you should be - and I'm sure you are - grateful for. Your wealth is yours (and quite impressively earned at such a young age might I add) and as long is it is enjoyed in good health and happiness, there is no other way it should be spent.
Of course everyone has his or her idea of how money should be spent and thats fine. Opinions are opinions. But as pmb600 said, what happened to the civility of this thread? Butchen, you are clearly a successful guy in the field of real estate. I am familiar with the field as that my sister works for one of the largest lenders in the United States and closes million-dollar loans for breakfast. What I dont understand is WHY ON EARTH you are acting like such a child? Real Estate is a networking business. It is about relationships and connections. I don't care if I had all of the money on Earth, I would never, ever buy a home from you simply from how I have see you respond to criticism in this thread. I am 19 years old for God's sake and even I am bewildered. Saying someone drives a Honda as an insult? As if that has anything to do with his character or personal virtues? I agree that you have been getting lots of trouble by other posters for the house you are posting pictures of and they have come at you with just as childish remarks as your own. But nevertheless, if you are going to let it be known that you are realtor on these public forums, I think it would be wise of you to act with a little more decency. Good luck in all of your endeavors and whether you want to take this with offense or with an open mind is up to you.

I agree, what I meant to say was supercharged which also is forced induction.
Turbos work by making use of exhaust gases in order to compress the intake charge while the supercharger mechanically translates the engines rotational power in order to do the same job.

I was there this morning too. That car on the lift is not my partners. The SLR Tech left the dealership on Friday, so my partner is taking his SLR to Lindon at lunch. Ken Garff can do tires on SLR's, but they are not authorized to do anything else. I had my S65 sitting outside the service bay this morning for about a half an hour, did you see it? I was standing inside the bay this morning chatting with Melanie and Ahmean. You probably walked right by me. I was the young Asian kid.. (27 years old)..

Were you with your wife/GF/whatever (the cute asian girl)?? I think I walked up to Ameen right as you were walking away from him. Small world!!
I was the young white kid (27 years old) in the black sport jacket and red shirt.

love2skiutah 3-S65's ??
Just read on the "other" MBforum that you actually ordered 3 of these S65's and that you were having them dropped off directly to Brabus to have them modify the engine and interior at a cost of $110k each.

Since it looks like your black one is still factory, did you or your partners go through the mods with the others?
Just curious, because it would seem that the factory performance of these vehicles is pretty awesome to begin with
