The CGT is incredibly fast, but I'm amazed at how quickly it dusted the 65.

But on dragtimes.com the Carrera GT only does 11.1@133mph. I guess that 5mph difference in trap speed really shows from a roll!
This is making me seriously think about selling my low 11 sec E55 for a Upper crust rocket sedan.
Don't forget that the engine is purposely torque-limited by AMG to go easy on the tranny. Removing that limiter is trivial for the tuners and gives a huge gain to begin with. Add a bit of boost and look out. If only someone could harden the tranny, the engine could be more seriously tuned and generate 1000 ft-lbs.

Unfortunately we could not get a spark reading, so the Torque is not included in this graph, but I would estimate it at around 800 ft/lbs at the rear wheels.
I personally think the S65's are a somewhat untapped resource for insane power. I hope that as they become more available people will start building them up heavily like you see with the 211 E55's. Tranny aside, a possible 1000hp/1000tq stock motor is just plain wrong. Anyone know the weight difference between the two? CGT/S65
