i initially thought I would hate the green, but DAMN that looks reallly good. I too would have chosen flint gray tho, because I am sure the value will take a huge hit being green... plus flint gray is just incredible.

Hey Maniac. Did you happen to buy your car from Beshoff Motorcars in San Jose CA? We bought our E from there. Were you at the dealer today? I think i might have seen you in the morning, I heard you talking to a guy about an S65, was that you?

Great colors, both the green and now your new one, the flint grey. Myself, I generally lean towards darker (black) colors, but in the case of the S65 I would actually fancy a blue color (dont remember the name, one member here has his as part of a signature, S550 on 20s). Another good color for the S65 would be a designo copper I have only seen in Europe (special order, went with an equally bespoke light brown interior, and gorgeous poplar wood trimmings).

Congratulations!!! I just picked up a 2006 S65 about 3 weeks ago. I just love the 65 engine and the comfort of the S class. I usually wait 1-2 years for a car to depreciate and then buy it. I love my 2006 but I'm sure that I'll trade mine for a 2007 in 2 years. I just love the new technology of the 2007. Great car and good luck with it.

Thank god... IMO I thought the green was ugly! I'm going to be driving my S65 from SLC to San Francisco in Feb.. I would love to see your car!

Congrats! My goodness those are stunning cars! I can't wait to see the Flint pics, as I love that combo. I just picked up my first S Class and absolutely love it....can't imagine how great the new S Class must feel!

To be quite honest, I kind of like the green.
So which dealer has this green one available now? And are they selling it as a pre-owned car? I assume they would have to since it was titled to you?

I saw that green on a S550 sport at the dealer; its one thing to appreciate its unique beauty and its another thing too drop the $$$ and drive a green S65 to work everyday...I would take the Flint colored car over the green even if the green was 20k off....IMHO.

The green was cool, for about 10 minutes, and then I was glad it wasnt mine. "One off" colors are nice because they are different but after a few months the novelty would have worn off- I am glad you got the flint grey instead. Again my opinion and to each their own.

good choice in the color change but **** i wouldnt even drive the s class with a f430 in my garage. my neighbors think im crazy with a E55 and a hummer. i wounder what they would say if i had your cars? hehe im jelous.

Beshoff
How is Beshoff to work with? I've bought seven cars from Smythe and have been pretty happy with them. I wonder if Beshoff's service department has had enough time to "mature." I think Smythe does a pretty good job in that department. And their parts guy is a god. But Beshoff has been pretty aggressive with their advertising in the few years they've been around.
I liked the green too, but you can't go wrong with the flint.
