S63 is sick. Pics inside
I drove an S63 this morning. It had the piano black wood and lots of other goodies. This car has plenty of power and the handling is excellent for a car this size. I know Mercedes rates the car at 518 H.P., but I think it's more like 540 or 550. Someone needs to dyno an S63. I drive an E63 daily, and this thing felt just as fast, plus I the interior is freakin incredible. Sticker on this one was $145k I think. If I didn't just buy my second E63 in six months, I would buy this car forsure.

The piano wood is not standard. Those are stock wheels, but on the window sticker it says "AMG Package" which includes the wheels, piano wood and no top speed limiter.

Some of you who have driven the E63 and S63, how different is the exhaust note? I know in the 55s, the S, CLS, and E all have very different characters.. The E63 I've revved up and taken around the block sounds hellacious and I can only hope the S will be the same way. Did it really feel like it had more power than the E?!
