Noxxin - I agree with you on the spoiler - why not wait a bit and then decide.

I think that's the right move for now. after the light tint and blacking out the red panels on the tail lights I think she may have had all the makeover she needs.

Hey Noxxin -- would love to see photos outside/daylight of tint, as well as the blacked out lights

hey noxxin,

how were your tail-lights tinted?
ie by film over the exterior lens? or did they spray it with tint paint?

Can you provide some pictures of the entire rear of the vehicle.
I'm curious to see what it looks like overall.

thanks!

They applied film to the exterior of the lens but just the panels that were originally red. I've been super busy the past few days and haven't been able to get pics in the daytlight but there is an earlier post in this thread where I have a couple of night time photos in my garage. once I take some new shots of the car which I am planning to do this weekend, I will post them all.

Hey Turlte I got a few better shots of the tint and tail lights today. A little glare but you can get the idea.

Thanks for all the info Noxxin -- very helpful!!
I live only a few miles from the Tint Factory and will look them up as soon as my car arrives.
Does the tint make visability out of the windows more limited? Any safety issues?

i had darker tint on my cls55 and with the rear shaded down it's not bad at all. the cls had really bad visability to start to the huge windows on the S is a dream for me. turtle i would have no problem meeting up with you sometime to show off our cars you seem like a real nice guy buddy.

Thanks Eddie, I am very happy with the way it came out. My mother is visiting us from NY this weekend so I haven't been able to tear up the roads out here too much, but that's probably a good thing

too funny!!!! trust me she gets nervous when I come to a stop at a red light. She loves the seat massage though it's seems to put her at ease with my driving.

Yea I know that, my wife's the same way. I must say the massage is great - especially while sitting in traffic.

my wife just tells me she feels sick every time she rides w me.

I love the massage as well but to be totally honest the drive dynamic seats feel much more jarring then my cls55 or e55 did. When driving through the canyons and foothills it feels like someone is jabbing me in the kidneys. Even in the low position it feels very abrasive. I know that the firmness is due to higher quality parts and production then my previous amg's but I shut the feature off because I was tired of the beating I was getting. I'm sure I'll use it again in the future though.

Interesting Noxxin - I guess it's personal preference I like it much better than on my E55. My youngest daughter really loves it. On the E should would turn on both the dynamic seat and the massage every time she sat in the front seat.

glad to hear they finally fixed that!

same with the s55...we had to reach down and press that freakin button everything time on the passenger side.

got kind annoying.
you would think they would put a weight sensor or something.

how about the 63...does it have a sensor or does the dynamic seat on the passenger side just activate regardless?

Not sure if it activates on a weight sensor but I set it to level 1 on my passenger seat and every time someone is sitting there they tell me they can feel it.
