POS camera phone pic, but I just could not pass up the opportunity to snap this. It's tough to see, but yes, that's a FERRARI decal directly underneath the "455 HO" letters. The license plate frame reads "ELECTRIC" up top with "GAS ELECTRIC HYBRID" on the bottom. I can only hope this was some cruel attempt at humor.

Ah geez, all these fake badge talks are giving me a headache. Can somebody just tell me where to get an AMG badge, V8 Compressor badges, quad exhaust muffler tips and a letter "5"?
Thank you.
Oh right, before I forget, is there a custom AMG sticker I can put on the instrument cluster that won't peel off every 2 months?
Thank you.

E63, SL 550 Sport,C63 Coupe On the Way!!
Yesterday in NY i spotted a fully kitted out new S Class, looked like it had a combination of a Lorinser and Fab Design Kit all shark fined out with an SLR type nose, but the best was the S65 badges on the sides and deck lid. I pulled up to take a closer look to see some goof ball driving it, i beeped he hit the gas and I killed his S550 S65 wannabe it was so silly. I dont get it.
There is a guy local to me with an E350 but he has E55 badges on it and the fenders too, So stupid

Yes posers are losers and the same with all knock offs.
Funny thing, I had an '04 designo S500 with an "AMG package". No AMG badge since that would be embarassing. So yes the factory should lose the badges.
It felt completely stupid having AMG styling and wheels. Souped up nothing.
MB factory is watering down what is a unique and special vehicle.

2003 E55 AMG
I hate when cars are completely rebadged as amgs. It doesnt bother me so much if it still says 500, 550 ect, but when it says v8 kompressor on the side of 320 thats irritating. I live in a relatively small town, and i own one of the nicer restaurants in town, and i see plenty of fake amgs in the parking lot, as well as some truly amazing vehicles. There is one though that bothers me more than all others. It is a silver non amg w211, i drive a silver w211 e55. The faker has amg wheels, full amg badging, and an amg body kit. Next time i see him ill be sure to get a picture for this thread.

I was driving downtown last week and saw a pretty cute blonde driving a SL550 with I assume her BF or husband in the passenger seat (probably car owner). Of course, it had the SL55 AMG badging on it, rears and sides.
It's one thing to put an AMG badge on a 500 with a sports package (keeping the 500 badge).....it's another thing to remove it and put a SL55 badge on it and go all the way with the Kompressor badges. I had to laugh.....I've never really one to knock people's taste...but a SL550 is already a nice car, not sure why you would rebadge it like that.

Not really. Guess which word came first, poseur or poser? Yep, poseur.
And which one is a slang usage. Yep, poser.

Sorry, not owned at all. But enough about word usage. Let's get back to cars.

Nope. Poseur. Poser is slang. Compare the definitions given for poser and for poseur, and see which is a better match to what's being described here:
