Extended Warranty, 2006 S65
I'm closing in on a used 2006 S65; but will not proceed without an extended warranty. Neither one of the cars I looking at are with a Benz dealer, so I'm looking for an independent warranty company. Anybody have any experience with a warranty company that will cover a S65. AMG and/or 12 pistons seem to narrow the field.

The warranty extension on new cars is also available for AMG and V12 models, at $3,000, $3,575 and $4,880 for a one, two or three-year extension past the normal four. (All these extended warranties are good for 100,000 miles as long as the time isn't up first.)

The factory has no warranty program for used cars not bought from a dealer under the Starmark program.

Found a 2006 s65 with 13k miles, from a dealer. Car is certified so it gets the extra year, more than enough for my purposes. thanks.
Once it arrives (in a couple of weeks) I'll post some pictures.

Dealer extended warranty
Hello,
The dealer does offer extended warranty for uses vehicle for 2 additionl years or 100k miles. Does anyone know if this is worth purchasing if I am getting a 06 S55?

What about the point 4 exclusion?
The only extended warranty on used models is part of the CPO (Starmark) program.
It is available for AMG and V12s at $2,395 for a sixth year (from original delivery)
and $3,995 for a sixth and seventh year.
