Which forum do new S 600 drivers belong?

Now that I have realized that the S 600 is completely different from a 550 in terms of its smoothness of power and incredible torque, not to mention almost every freakin possible option that you need,I would think the S 63/65 class would be the place to be in these Mb forums.
However, we all know about posers and an S 600 driver shouldn't think that he has an S 65 either.
(However, you S 65 guys don't have the rear seat power controls, so we are one up on you there).
Should I be kicked the hell out of here and not be a S 65/ or 63 poser, or do V12 owners belong with the S 65's as (sidekicks) in these forums?
Fellow car snob opinions welcome...

I think that your input is welcome all over, but the new S600 area is a little bit lower. If you scroll down to MB Sedans....the first one is for the new S class, and it lists as one of the cars, the S600.

thanks. I guess the '07 S600 is a little bit lower indeed.
Good enough for me though.
Hey, since you have 10+ awesome cars, you are more deserving of the "carsnob" title than I ever will be.
so, it's for sale.
ciao.

I spend most of my time in the S55 AMG forum - even though I have the S600

Two reasons:
1. The S600 is the only performance car in the "S-Class W220" section, which means most members don't/can't relate to my issues.

2. Converesely, even though I don't drive an "AMG" performance edition, the perfomance results are similar to the AMG and the members on the S55 section are more knowledgeable (IMHO).....

That being said, I'm happy to post up on the S-Class section and offer some input/recommendations where I can.

Hi Carsnob - congrats on your S600 and welcome to the club! I am guessing that you like most of us bought the S600 partly because of its V12 performance and the S63/65 forum is where I find like minded folks... (Especially coming from an E55) The S600 is more powerful (and expensive)than the S63 and is the same base engine from which the S65 is derived so this forum is a kind of natural place to be... It kinda points out the biggest anomaly of the S-Class product line... (As if an E550 was more powerful than an E63) ...and I think when you have bought a new model S600 the word "poseur" hardly applies... Anyway I hang around on both forums... After all we are all S-drivers together!

Chris

Thanks Chris.
the S 600 is sure a smooth engine and it is amazing how the torque is so pronounced and smooth.
After driving S 500's for years, I am totally spoiled now by the 600.
Plus once you get a taste of all the options it's hard to turn back.
