Unhappy S55 Accel Question??

Got a couple of questions, when I punch it, I mean all the way, it wouldn't respond, even with the mods listed in my sig, my second question is after putting the rentech pully, it'll kick, or hard shift, kinda hard to explain, but it feels like the the trany jerking it kicks my A*$$ when I floar it, is that normal?

It could be a couple of things. Supercharger clutch engagement gets more harsh with a larger pulley. I have a ASP pulley which is bigger than the renntech one but havent felt it yet. The not responding to flooring it could be belt slip. Could be wrong on this.

Thanks for all your help, do you think it could be my IC Pump, I have 36k on my car, I just replaced the sc pully, and did an ecu tune. My main thing is not the jerk, it's the lack of power?? Once again thanks

Since the E55 guys had the same problems with their intercooler pump and we used the same one, I changed mine to the johnson cm30 pump which flows better than OEM. Also with the larger pulley every bit of cooling helps. You can get the pump from one of the sponsers. Good luck with the car. BTW did you have your car dynoed?

no not yet, but planing on instaling an extra rentech heat exhcanger, with the johnson pump, then I'm gonna dyno it.

Renntech cooling upgrade is a rip off, IMO...

I'm planning on Euroelites or Evosport cooling upgrade.... bigger H/E.

Is the loss of power right during 1st punch of the day (when the engine was started cold)? Or after several punch?

If after several punch, it's likely your pump... even w/ the newer pump, my car (same setup - Evotech + Renntech pulley) quite often lost power after several punch.

As far as kicking your butt, yes, it happens to me too.... replaced the S/C clutch but doesn't help much... the chirp is gone, though.

You dont need an extra heat exchanger. We already have it. The w220 platform comes with two stock. Dont waste your money, the pump will be fine to push the extra coolant. Second link is our setup. Big body benzs have their perks.

Your right with the Renntech cooling package, I think they use the S class heat exchanger in their kit but I could be wrong.

Well what adam from Euroelites said that they will custom make one to fit my car, leave the stock on, and add another HE, with it's own line to run straight to the SC, the whole setup comes with the johnson pump, at a very good price. I know I got enough HP, I just need to keep up the boost for as long as possible.
