S65 w/ 22" Modulare M7's
Hey guys.
This is my boss's car but I thought I would post some pics since I think the car looks great.
Wheels are 22" Modulare M7's with brushed centers and polished lips. Tires are Pirelli's the drop is from a RennTech lowering module.
As a side note, the wheels were purchased through D2 Autosport but we ran into a slight manufacturing problem. Derrick over at D2 and Peter at wheelexperts were very professional through the process and were very hands on until the problem was solved. I would recommend them to anybody in the market for new wheels.

Looks great.
I put 22's on my S65 and lowered it as well.
It ruined the ride, it ruined the suspension, I constantly have problems with the ABC, tire pressure monitoring system and road grip.
If I could go back, I would put on custom 20's and leave the height stock.
On the other hand, 22's made my car look so much better....

Those have got to be one of the classiest/sickest rims I've seen that. I'm going to try to convince the dad to get these for the s550

I don't like them. Best wheels for the W221 65 are the OEM 030 20" wheels. 22"s retard the performance and why have a 65 if not to drive fast?

It is rare that I say positive things about very large diameter wheels, but these look brilliant. The only part I have difficulty understanding is why go for the *****-out model if one is to prioritize appearance over the actual performance of the vehicle? This setup, albeit seductive, is going to cause some problems. Such large wheels make the profile of the tires very narrow. With my humble and conservatively rated 420TQ, I still have traction issues with Dunlop 9000 275/18/35's in back. This car produces 320 more ft-lbs of torque, which is sent to rear wheels on an even thinner profile. The more power you have, the more meat you need on those wheels to keep things tidy in back.

car looks fantastic...
the wheels are also available in 20" and 21" for this application. This customer opted for the 22" and it really looks amazing

This is a definite "g-ride" as I sometimes get commented on in my little CLK.
Too bad pics dont do these modulares too much justice, in person and with some sunlight the lip and finish is top notch.

nice car, but too bad at speeds it was designed to go at, you'd be taking a chance.. then again not every one has our roads up here... where pot holes are more like a crevasse on a mountain

Love the look. Bump what everyone says about the 22's. 20's look too small on there and 22's fill it up just right. Everyone knows that you sacrifice ride quality for looks or else we wouldn't upsize our wheels and stay stock forever.
