ecu upgraders in Virginia?

Hello.
I have been thinking the S55 needs more power and my options are limted up in Maine. I am soon driving to Virginia for a vacation and I would love to get my ecu tuned. Are there any tuners in Virginia? Is this the best way to spend cash on this car? Pulleys? I would love to get the power without opening the motor. I am done with that stuff. Thanks for any help.

Talk to matt curry at http://currysauto.com/HighPerf/power.htm

They have a good reputation with european high end cars and doing ecu upgrades/flashes.

For ECU upgrades, I would highly recommend PowerChips...their website is in my SIG.

You can get your ECU flashed from many tuners just have to send it to them and they could have it back to you in days. If you want a dyno tune then they would need the car and you will be looking at dyno time. Power wise the best bang for the buck would be a stage one, crank pulley and ECU. LET offers ECU tunning for 800 and ASP has a pulley for about 900 the best price stage 1 IMHO. Good luck.

Thanks for the info. Do you have any idea what kind of HP and Torque gains the Pulley and ECU upgrade? Thanks

With the stage 1 depending on who you go with your looking at 50/60 rwhp and 80/100 rtq. Some got less but this is about the average.

Thanks for all the help/replies guys. Unfortuntely it looks like I will end up driving my wifes SUV instead so we can take along all our baby junk to go see the In-laws. So no road trip in the S55 for me I guess. That's life!

We can still tune that 55. You will just have to send in your ECU....... 1-2 day turn around time.
