Flying Spur vs S65

Does anyone know what flying spurs are currently pulling via wholesale? I have decided on the flying spur over the s65.

We still love our GL550 and that is a keeper!

Thanks Guys!

Lexus
Regular 06 18-24k mileage are around 79-91k depending on many things. (muliner, paint work, color, condition)

They are cheap. Most of the 06's are still in warranty, although for a short time.

2010 S600 sold
The extended warranty after the initial 3 yr period costs $3K per year for a CFS. You have to buy the extended warranty before the intial 3 yr warranty expires.

The only one I know of is that pathetic excuse for a board that they have over at Vortex. There's like 10 threads, and they're all a bunch of 14 year olds saying either "Bentley sux, buy an Acura, so much better!" or "Can I put Conti GT wheels on my Rabbit 2.5?" Haha, its so pathetic, its too bad, there's so much to talk about. And yeah like usc said, extended warranties on these are a little $$.

there's also the board at 6speedonline, which doesn't get that much action either.

Maybe because your average Bentley owners don't have either time or desire to waste that time on the car blogs.....

Plenty of guys who own AMG 65s from new who post on here regularly, those are as much or than a Conti (depending on model), can't see why not, this is a fun place.

Generally,AMG owners are more enthusiastic about cars and their participation in blogs is natural, regardless of their financial status.
Similarly to your typical Ferrari or Lambo owners who spend much more on their cars then the typical Bentley owners(basically on par with 65 series) and are (mostly) performance car junkies.
Most Bentley owners buy their cars for status and image only,a lot of them are not even aware of their cars capabilities (enormous and very respectful ,especially in the Speed editions).

Lamborghini SV Roadster, G550 4x4, AMG GTR on order
I had looked at the FS and test drove them ..the interiors are great, very powerful but the mercedes just felt more agressive and the designo makes the car so much better. Having the electronic toys help too.

After having the s65, I would have nothing else.

True, although I thought a lot of Arnage buyers might be more interested. I know I would. Even the Fcar and Lambo guys do more, with Fchat and Lamborghini talk (huge). But yeah a lot of the Conti drivers don't even know how to drive half the time. Drmac, I was about to say, can't beat the 65 for tech toys. And the handling is helped by the fact that it's ~600 lbs. lighter.

just went thru this myself.

Bentley only extends the warranty up to 3 years after the factory warranty ends. Its around $3800 per year.

Hi there...My 06 FS's 3 year warranty came to an end on the 20th of Dec. (last month). I obviously went for the additional 1 year, unlimited mileage, extended warranty, which had to be done a month prior to warranty expiry, at a cost of $3,150 (might not be 100% same, since i'm not in the US, FX etc.).

Basically, car had to be taken in for a thorough check, after which the warranty was extended. They make sure the car had the proper service history, all done at an authorized Bentley service center, etc.

I HIGHLY recommend going for the extended warranty.

Hope this helps

Some clarification: you can only extend the warranty up to 3 years, but not at once. Meaning each extension has to be done seperately, with a complete service/vehicle inspection prior to each 1 year extension.
