2005 s55 AMG Supercharger stops working on and off
My supercharger stops working at random but it seems more often after I get on it for a minute then all I feel is 1/4 power. Sometimes it goes away if I slow down or stop. I'm taking it in the shop on Monday, does anyone have any I deas?

If you're under warranty then you take it to the dealer and have them diagnose it. If you're out, find a friend or someone who has Star Diagnostic and they can test it through that. If it is faulty, which it sounds like it is, you can replace it with a stock Bosch pump or an after market pump such as the Johnson CM30 which provides higher flow rate and thus lower IATs.

I really apreciate the help guys! It is under warranty (till April 12th)and I just dropped it off at Mercedes of Albuquerque today. I am also having them check a small tick in the engine, some growling noises in the front engine pulleys and the driver seat doesnt seem to go low enough. My S55 has 44,500 miles, is there anything else I should look for or have checked before warranty runs out?
Also, does anyone have an extended warranty recomendation? Mercedes of Albuquerque says that I am out of model year for factory extended warranty even though my warranty doesnt expire until april 12th.
One more thing, does everyone here have the dealership perform A and B services or do you do some or all of the stuff yourself?

But according to their website, they do not sell warranties to the generel public and their service contracts have to be purchased through a dealership. Does that dealership then perform the repairs pursuant to the warranty or does the car have to be taken to one of the "repair centers" listed on the site.
Just to be clear, I'm looking at www.eaglewarranty.com. Is that the same company you're talking about?
