S65 Given a new lease on life...(major paint correction inside)

First off not sure where to begin with this one... From the moment I stepped into the dealer ship in Jersey I realized this car needed some work. My eyes went directly to one fender that looked like it was almost flat black in the show room light... After I had a minute to think about it... I realized that there were swirl marks litterally ALL OVER the car. It wasn't till I picked the car up and washed it the very first time that I realized how much work this car needed.

I didnt take any pics pre wash cause there was a fare amount of dirt on the car from the monsoon we experienced a couple weeks ago... it would only make the car look worse than its already horrible condition.

My first realization that this was a nightmare car was that as I began clay barring the trunk... the clay bar started turning black similar to running a clay bar over an exhaust tip. Below is a piece of brand new clay next to the one I used(that was new) on the car

After the clay bar was done I moved the car into the shop to begin inspecting it... I am pretty sure all the contamination on the car was hiding most of the deep scratches in the paint. I was amazed at the condition of this car. It looked like some one washed the car with 80 grit sand paper.

Roof

Trunk

Then the swirls/scratches... EVERYWHERE...

Panel that was poorly repainted

rear driver's side door

Driver's side rear quarter

Trunk

I have never seen a car of this level... in as bad of shape. I unfortunately was unable to capture the SEVERE etching on the trunk, hood and roof either. As I had guessed it, the previous owner was the CEO for a company in manhattan... the car was daily driven into the city and was more or less run through a car wash once a week

The rest of the write up...

Wow....

Could do with giving my black W220 similar TLC.

I really wish I had the skill and know how to do this type of excellent work. I am still amazed as to the outcome you got. Do you have a shop down in Boston? Or is this more for fun.

I would also like to know how much this costs. I only live 3 hours from Boston also. I will say my paint does not look as bad as that 65's did prior but could use a good work over. I actually grew up in Massachusetts, where are you located?

Most cars(in average condition) would need like 10 hours of work which would be roughly $300

I am certainly interested in this. Now I need to figure out the logistics since I live in Maine. Is this a one day thing or multiple?

I have hosting for YR... told him he could host on my existing server... I'm in the process of buying my partner out on my other site so space is running out. Especially with the traffic YR is bringing in these days
