Baseline runs at track tonight

Took the '06 S65 to the track tonight totally bone stock with stock tires. 75 degrees today and no cooldown at the track. Best run was as follows with no burnout and an easy launch.

60' 1.9779
330'5.2338
1/8 7.9513@88.74
1/4 12.2194@116.34

Not great but o.k. for conditions. Car has a ton left in it. I will run it with drag radials and bmc filters. Still can't decide a company for the ecu tune.

Nice work on getting a baseline I'm dropping mine for for and ECU/TCU 2nd week of May...I'll let you know how it goes for your decision making.

Nice.....I've only made 1-2 passes in my car without my DR's, but my times were identical. I went 12.2x-12.3x and 117.....

Stephen, I'll be up at 75/80 dragway on Friday night for test and tune on the SL600. Let me know if you want to meet up. Last Friday there was less than 20 cars for TNT. No doubt, we'd be the only MBs there.

Very nice times, get her on Drag radials and she will dip into the 11's.

In terms of ECU/TCU tune if I could give some lead way I would go with Speedriven (@Speedriven.com). They are building some Monsters out there. They built Markos 65, Soulsearchers 1000+hp SL600 and in a few weeks I will unleash my built EV12 with XXXX hp by them.... , they recently just unleashed the new TCU software and trust me the words don't do it justice.

Yeah...Markos 65 looks pretty sweet and his new tune appeared to help a bunch also. That may be the way I go. I have had such good luck with Renntech that I am teetering between the two. I will do a few things to see what my car responds to. Drag radials, BMC filters, and some 100 octane to start...on a decent night it should be mid/high 11's. My S600 ran 11.97@114.7 stock with drag radials and a splash of 100 octane. The S65 should be good for 11.7....if this car is a "good" one.

Bottle #'s...not anytime soon. This car is too nice to spray it right now. Let me get other stuff dialed in first. When I get bored I may spray it....who knows.

Thanks, but there is no way I can get up there on Friday night. Too much traffic. I can get to MIR in a little over an hour but 75/80 is much further for me.

There should be plenty to be found!! But still not bad for a big sedan.

When you are ready to unleash some power, let me know!
