Don't do the ECU/TCU reset!!!

it makes you drive like an @ss to prevent relearning of the old granny ways

I think it actually did improve shift speed and the shifts seem to be much smoother. I took a drive at lunch and averaged 10.6 mpg instead of the usual 15-16. Sure was a fun way to burn extra fuel , but like I said, I must have looked like an @ss doing all those 0-45 and 20-60 bursts. Hopefully it will be out of my system before I get myself in trouble.

Heh, yeah. Don't you love it when you drive somewhere, and all of a sudden, you see a clear stretch of road and no one around?

How is this reset done? Do you just unplug the battery and keep it disconnected for a while?

On some models... just turn key to position 2, then hold down the gas pedal for a moment. then turn car off for a few minutes. I THINK thats it.

Here you go, RAC3ME. I did it with mine, and you'll see my experience recounted here.

Good luck.

It really helped my girl learn who I am and how I like to make her move.

Best,

maw
