My new project
hey guys I have recently acquired a CL55 engine and tranny (connected ) with 55k on it and plan on swapping my S430 engine and tranny out. I have some questions on what you guys would suggest on engine mods as I would like to do them while the engine is out of the car, so far I am thinking this route but dont know the brands everyone prefers,
-denso plugs new wires
-180 mm pulley
-82 mm throttle body
-ECU tune
-LTH
-Carbon fiber air box/ intake tubes
-sprint booster
-phenolic spacers
-heat exchanger
anything else I miss please let me know thanks guys

2005 S55, 2002 E430, 2007 CLK350, 2006 SL55, 2003 SL55
I would keep everything stock until you have it in the S430 and running...it will be quite enough work without adding other "question marks" on running issues.
Once stabilized in the new Body, then go for the mods.
