Vossen on S63
Spring is coming so finally was able to put new wheels on my car.
Vossen did a great job and Gerry (sponsor here)from Kustom Wheels For Less went out of his way to make me happy.

Not really.
A bad week for me this one.
Wheel damaged yesterday and on Tuesday some soccer mom hit my son's Range Rover Sport on the passenger door while he was waiting for his younger brother on the parking lot of Catholic(!) Junior High.
Hit and run,he didn't even get the licence plate.....![smash](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/smashfreak.gif)
It's really depressing to see how people no longer take any responsibility for their own actions.

Did you move up from an earlier W221 to the new Bi-Turbo? How do you find the pairing of the MCT gear box with the new Bi-Turbo engine? I drove a 2011 S63 recently and though the gear changes were a little to-harsh for my liking especially in S mode.

Your observations regarding MCT shifting are spot on.
When I was ordering the car I was told it would be reprogrammed for the S63 to make it more "civilized" then the SL63 (acceptable in that kind of car).
It is slightly better,in "C" in particular but still nowhere near the smoothness of the regular Auto.
To be perfectly honest, even though I am happy with the overall performance of this car,I would rather order S65 if I could do it again.
I like modding my cars and so far there is very little out there (piddling 37-40 hp gain) for the S63 while S65 has the whole gamut of different packages.

Hell, I would be completely satisfied without the extra 30-40 horses with the PP coming from 295. lol

Coming from 295 it sure would feel good but you get used to everything after a while (also, previously I had SL65 with 590hp at the wheels).
As they say,for every beautiful woman there is a guy already tired of her ***....
