Anyone selling the full radio head unit
I have a 2002 s600 wich is the pre facelift and i want to upgrade the headunit to the 03+ style?? anyone has it forsale or maybe know of a crashed s class thaat would like to sell it?

You can not change to an 04 up radio as shown in your picture. They are a COMPLETELY different fiber optic system. The network in your car is D2B fiber optics, and the 04+ cars are M.O.S.T. fiber optics. We have an S Class kit to change to an aftermarket head unit, but you should talk to one of our techs so that you fully understand what to do (or not do). The S Class has several special considerations that some of the other classes do not have when changing to aftermarket.

Do you have pictures of it in ur w220 because I want to keep it looking as factory as possible because I really dont like some of the aftermarket ones iv seen.

The unit used in 2003 would work as the 2003 models still used the D2B bus.

Did you get anywhere with this as i too am considering the upgrade headunits from car-electronics as in your picture?

I want the abilities of MP3 and DVD if nothing else, and my car is already an early 2004 S55.
