The stealership said they come with the whole leather package for the seat .. They can't get me just the logo itself ... Any help is much appreciated thanks

Good question to ask on the AMG private lounge page...you wont have any luck in a salvage yard...AMG cars dont show up there very often..maybe in a flood situation..

Bought a set from the exact your person you're talking about. Waited over a month and never got them. Contacted them, he said he didn't know what happened. He tried to sleaze his way and not give me my money back, but I made sure I got it.

Can you please provide instruction how to replace AMG seat logo? By the way, you can buy these from parts.com for less than stealer. Shipping is expensive ($11 FedEx) if you buy only one item. Shipping is reasonable if you buy more items. Still cheaper than stealer.

Here's how I did it, whether this is the best way or not. No way was I taking the seat out, with all the wiring and air stuff going on under there. The leather has to come up and forward off the seat back frame, although I never had it completely detached.

Seat back off, and headrest out. Unsnap the headrest elevator by pushing it horizontally. Now for the headrest sleeves. These have two parts, one that you can see, with the collar. Mine were very brittle, and broke when I touched them, so off to the dealer again, but these are surprisingly cheap (A 220 970 00 41 9851, color apparently determined by VIN). There is almost no way to get these off without breaking them even if they aren't brittle, so I would just snap them off right away, so the leather will come up. The lower part of these sleeves were not brittle but when you buy the sleeve you get both parts anyway. Once you have the leather off and forward, you will see that maybe you could have got the sleeves out, but only if you knew the trick, and even then unlikely.

I may not remember all details but if I can figure it out you certainly can. Low down, there are little tabs on the leather, loosen these. There is also a cardboard strip sewn to the leather, get this out of its slot. The leather is attached higher up with a strip which unsnaps from the seat back frame. Now the leather has to be worked up and over the frame, and forward with the basket-like material behind it. The old badge straps are under a piece of tape, keep them for the moment. I didn't want to get the new straps too tight, and maybe cause them to break again, or to be pulling the leather in too tight, so I used the old straps for reference when bending the new ones. I also compared to the other seat's badge to see if it looked about right. I covered the new straps with a piece of Gorilla duct tape, don't want to poke the air massager bags.

If the old badge from my seat had been somewhere in the car, I probably would have tried gluing it back on somehow. This wouldn't have been perfect, since the badge pulls the leather in a little, like a button on a leather couch. It might have been good enough, I don't know. My badge came out looking perfect, don't know if the strap length is difficult and I got lucky, or maybe it's not critical at all. I moved the seat around quite a lot during the process so I could get to things.

I had to replace one of the AMG logos on my drivers seat. The part CAN be ordered from the dealer. It is available as a Special Order Part.

Installation as mentioned above is a pain. The whole seat leather needs to be remove which encompasses some time.

I took the lazy man step and used epoxy glue. Works fine . If I knew the how to above without breaking anything I would have done the method post above.

Yup, I used black caulking. Can't really tell the difference.

So is it the tension of the emblem from behind that pushes the leather in around the logo?

Interesting. It looks as if the 2014 S63 AMG seat logos are no longer recessed. Maybe due the existing ones coming off from the tension?
