I'm going to do a fluid/filter/conductor plate/connector change on my S65 and had some questions
-Which fluid? i searched and it seems there are different MB fluids
-Do i need the SDS to flash or load anything with the conductor plate swap?
-any other tips as well

pentosin CH11S is the fluid to use, pln on replacing the leaking electrical connection ($20) and you will not need STAR or SDS or DAS for anything on a trany flush...You may need to purchase a shop dipstick to verify you have the same amount of fluid that was removed...check the level before (old fluid) and after a few das of driving. You will not be able to drain the torque converter...there is no drain there.
Drain/fill/drive/drain/fill until you consume about 10 Liters of the fluid.

Use MB transmission fluid.
Pentosin CH11S is the fluid used for the ABC system not transmission.

Whoa, he right!..Im reading too many threads at the same time...go to EBAY and buy the MB approved transmission fluid..it will be cheaper there.

i thought i was reading that wrong. lol
i have seen the mb fluid on ebay and saw different kinds, is one better?
for the flush, i was going to do the "disconnect the cooler line" technique as i'm going to do the radiator change at the same time.
its gonna be a long day in the garage:
-oil and filter change
-cabin filters
-air filters
-trans service with conductor plate and connector
-radiator swap

figure i'm saving myself like $1k in labor

if you have some type of pump to flush the fluid with you will probably be doing a better job than dropping the pan...what about the AT filter in the pan?
A dealer AT flush is over $400..I checked prior to doing mine.
I think you need the MB tranny fluid for the 722 type transmissions, but I am unsure...the threads on this board will state the correct transmission for these AMG cars.

there is a lot of fuss over the tranny fluid.

in my opinion, you are fine with a 236.10 or 236.14 MB spec fluid, of which there are a few.
